Wale recently released a video for his new single “Poor Decisions” featuring Rick Ross and Lupe Fiasco off their new Self Made 3 album that hits stores August 6th. In the end of the video, Wale can be seen wearing all Moschino. Wale wore two Moschino t-shirts one is black and white and the other is a jersey all-over logo tee from their Spring/Summer 13. The logo t-shirt is dope and a great marketing idea. Wale also wore all black and white t-shirt from the brand with a matching skully. Lebron James walked in to the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas focused and ready to win, Game 5 of the NBA Finals. But as we know it didn’t work in his favor in the end.  Lebron  wore a super dope green Michael Bastian long sleeve tuxedo henley, grey 3X1 pants, and Nike Air Yeezy 2 wolf grey pure platinum sneakers. I really like to mix of the grey and green and how it all came together in the shoes. As usual his stylist Rachel Johnson, keeps Lebron simple but  urban. What do you think of his look?

Lebron James  has had some dope style moments this last year. Lebron was one of the first celebrities in a Marcelo Burlon t-shirt. You can thank Rachel Johnson for Lebron’s incredible style. Lebron arrived to Game 4 in a YSL black polo, black 3×1 bespoke denim, Thomas Faison camo vest, and another pair of Custom made red snake-skin Balenciaga Arenas made by PMK Customs. He accessorized the entire outfit with a green pair of Beats by Dre headphones. Rachel has really been doing a dope job with these finals outfits especially with the custom Balenciaga arenas.

Dwyane Wade has made a 360 degree change as far as his style. You can thank his stylist, Calyann Barnett for the big turn around. D. Wade has become one of the most fashionable NBA players this last year. He has taken some leaps with some outfits but I like how he wears all the clothes boldly without care.  On the way into Game 4 he wore a Gucci Black Canvas Peacoat with a dope pair of Gucci Roos Studded Leather Loafers. I personally can’t rock the cropped pants look but I think D. Wade rocks it well here. Jay-z set the internet on fire when he sent out a picture that said he would share a big announcement with the world during Game 5 of the NBA Finals match-up between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs. Well last night Jay-z made hit announcement with Samsung that he will release a new album “Magna Carta Holy Grail“ on July 4th.  Jay can be seen wearing a grey Surface to Air “Go Home!” sweatshirt ($170). This crewneck will definitely sellout because Jay is wearing it but even more because it’s all over the blogs.

Nike is dropping another colorway of Kobe 8′s to keep the father’s fresh for their day. The shoes are made up of a red snake-skin upper with a sliver swoosh. I am not a fan of the orange outsole and the speckled midsole. I feel it all should have been red.  However, I know with the distinct laces and the dope colorway of these sneakers, the Kobe fan will be lining up for these. They are expected to hit stores on June 21st.

Kirko Bangz recently posted a picture of Instagram of himself in a Houston Dyanmo Training Jersey and matching scarf. The caption of the picture read “reppin’ “cup up top down” video”. I could not find any information about a new single from Kirko but, it looks like we will see a video soon. As I said before this is becoming a hip-hop trend with the soccer jerseys. Drake, then Wale and now Kirko Bangz in soccer jerseys within the last month. Just make sure you remember Trend Elements Magazine is where you first heard about this trend. I have to admit I have a sunglasses fetish and its becoming a problem. I have over 12 pairs of shades and the collection is growing by the minute.  So you know putting this list together was hard for me.  I feel everyone needs that classic pair of black frames that they could throw on with just about anything.  I tried to find just some nice frames that could fit multiple occasions. Retro Super Future makes so great eyewear, they are hand-made in Italy and are worn by many socialites and celebrities. They are well-known in the hip-hop culture for their Flat- Top frames. This pair is in that category but includes gold-tone temples and croc-stamped leather arms. One of my favorite pair of shades for the summer…

Gucci makes some awesome pieces and even better glasses. Gucci has been around for decades and keep impressing us with every collection. These pair of shades had nice chain like black arms that help make them different from all the other aviator style frames.

L.G.R. Cape Town

L.G.R. is a recent find while doing research for this post. The brand founded by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone, L.G.R. is inspired by a long-lost box of colonial sunglasses, the designer rediscovered on a trip to Africa. Drawing on the impeccable craftsmanship and design of these antique styles, he decided to produce small runs of authentic, handmade sunglasses of premium quality and style.  I think this specific pair are classic and simple.

The visual for DJ Khaled’s hot single “No New Friends” just dropped ft. Drake, Lil Wayne, and Rick Ross.  We all known Drake wore an entire DADA sports apparel outfit for the throwback scene of the video. However, Drake wore a dope Alexander McQueen Ivory and gold Dragonfly Wings Silk-Wool jacket which you can get for a little $2800.  The jacket is now on sale for 50% if you couldn’t afford the high price tag before.  The jacket is dope with the flower print and I really like the summer colors. I don’t know if Drake knew he wasnt going to be filmed below the waist so he went the comfortable route or this is just his look.  He matched the jacket with a pair of yellow shorts and Timberland boots with the long socks. Drake goes in so many different directions with his style, you never know what to expect.

Wale came through my home state of Michigan and had a meet and greet at Two/Eighteen clothing store in Royal Oak. Two/Eighteen is a dope store with some great urban brands and the line to meet Wale was down the block. Wale wore a just released Football Club Barcelona Soccer Jersey. I like the colors in the shirt and I feel it’s a rising trend for urban mens fashion. Drake was seen jumping out his new  brand new Bugatti Veyron in Adidas Mario Balotelli AC Milan Third Jersey just last week. I was reminded by a friend that Drake is Canadian and is always in soccer jerseys but I don’t think this will be the last we see of these soccer jerseys. While Wale was in town he requested to meet up with friend of the magazine and dope designer Rohail Khan Malik, seen in the picture above. Rohail is the owner of Khanmind clothing brand. Khanmind is an up and coming line that is getting attention from all over the world. I wont say too much because an interview with Rohail is in the making. But his Fall/Winter collection is set to change men’s fashion forever. Rohail wore a Khanmind Marlboro limited edition t-shirt that sold out online and is only available at your local Khanmind stockist.
